This is almost double the number subscribed to Apple Music and several times more than other competitors such as Amazon, Tencent or Deezer. Since 2013, Spotify has published a yearly list of its most-streamed artists, which has been topped by Drake a record three times. According to Statista’s Spotify yearly stats, 36 of global music streaming subscribers have a subscription with Spotify. Drake is the most-streamed male artist of all time, and Taylor Swift is the most-streamed female artist of all time. If you use Spotify, make sure to keep an eye out for your “Spotify Wrapped” which tells you information on what artists you listened to, your top artists and songs, how many minutes you’ve listened, and more. Sheeran is the most-followed male artist, and Ariana Grande is the most-followed female artist.
